Yes, I do agree with your point but you are kind of contradicting yourself. As you say back in the day they were good and quite the innovation, but now as we have access to wireless charging and other means of data transfers (e.g NFC, cloud, wireless, etc.) cables are becoming more and more obsolete. This is why I am referring to it as such a meaningless thing.
