I see your point of view, however if you look at things from that perspective then think about Australia right now, maybe with that much green electricity, we would have not created so much carbon from burning fossil fuels to generate power that has caused the Climate change which affects the whole world today.

Don’t get my point the wrong way, I don’t really approve of this project either, however, it might have been of use. But, at the same time, God knows what other wars or conflicts may have started in the Western world.
