History can be Like Religion Sometimes
They want you to read ‘their’ truth
There has been a rise in the people that are interested in history and with this comes one certain concern from many, is this the right history?
This is the reason why I say that history itself can be like religion, as we all believe in a certain religion or God so we all believe in certain outcomes within historical events. For example, I myself still believe that Hitler has killed himself in his bunker, whereas some prefer to believe that he somehow managed to escape to Finland from where he has taken a ship to South America. There are many documents that can justify either point however, these documents have been written by a person who may or may not have seen him escape with his or her own eyes.
You see, these documents that are a statement of proof to justify his escape or not are just like the Bibble. Now, it was not Jesus himself who wrote the bible but, a man who is a ‘suppose’ witness to his actions and his words, therefore we entrust our beliefs in the words that this person has written rather than in the existence of a God himself.
